I also believe that performance in any context is down to flow. How much are your individual employees and teams flowing? Are they able to be themselves and be authentic? If they are insecure in themselves then that will take them out of flow and they might underachieve, get distracted or create tension within the organisation.
Each person experiences their own separate reality of the world, and it is precisely because of this that tensions can flare. Flow requires perfect harmony. It is important for individuals to be secure in themselves first, because that will strengthen their relationships and interactions with others. Not only that, but it will help them to make better decisions, focus better and ultimately perform better.
